Well .. We had our 1st BCB Club shoot and it was a lot of fun!!
We were at Nelson Ledges Archery in Garrettsville, and if you have never been there, you don't know what your missing.
For EVERYONE that missed it, we wished you could of been there, you would of really enjoyed it.
And what a beautiful day to be shooting some 3D !!!!
The weather was perfect, it couldnt of been any nicer.
I guess a 6 to 8 week layoff from shooting does take its toll (Insert groan here) , because I did not shoot as well as I had hoped I would today, I shot a 254 ( not that 254 is bad at all), I was just pumped and wanted to just tear up the X-ring today you know maybe a possible 300 !! I know...I Know... Yea right !! keep dreaming !!.. right ?? Ha Ha !!. but I just couldnt get the yardage estimation thing under control and it kept me in the 8 ring most of the day, but it was all just for fun anyways and I had a great time being out there with my good friends.
As for that ever elusive 300 score... just wait till next time !!!!

But, I am sure we will be having another real soon.
Today was also my very good friend Chuck Braggs first time on a 3D range, he is brand new to the archery world and will also be a first year bowhunter this year.
All of us in the archery and bowhunting world would like to welcome Chuck into the brotherhood of Archery and Bowhunting.
We wish many years of enjoyment and success in this age old tradition, or should I say Obsession.
I am also sorry that I missed meeting Chris Rehner and Dan Lane at the shoot, it would of been really nice to meet you guys. Welcome to Buckeye Christian Bowhunters !!
